Privacy Policy
Effective date: 19 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how B2You ("B2You", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our websites (including b2you.co.uk), mobile applications (Customer, Vendor/Business, and Delivery/Driver apps), and related services (together, the "Platform").
B2You is a multi-vendor marketplace that connects customers with independent vendors, delivery partners, and other service providers. We act as a technology platform provider and, depending on the activity, may act as a data controller or processor under UK data protection law.

1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account and identity data: name, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form), profile photo, and verification details.
- Order and delivery data: delivery addresses, order history, special instructions, and communication related to your orders.
- Location data: approximate or precise location when you enable location services to find nearby stores, set delivery addresses, show your store/service area, or support delivery and order tracking. Location is used only for these Platform features.
- Payment data: payment status and transaction references. Card numbers and CVV are processed by certified payment providers (such as Stripe) and are not stored in full on B2You servers.
- Vendor and partner data: business name, store details, tax/business identifiers, bank/payout details required for payouts, and KYC information where legally required.
- Device and usage data: IP address, device type, operating system, app version, browser type, log data, crash reports, and interaction with the Platform (for security, diagnostics, and service operation).
- Communications: messages sent through in-app chat, emails, support tickets, and notification preferences.
- Marketing preferences: your choices about receiving promotional communications from B2You.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use personal data to:
- create and manage accounts for customers, vendors, and delivery partners;
- process orders, payments, refunds, and payouts;
- enable delivery, order tracking, and customer support;
- provide maps, location-based discovery, and route-related features;
- prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations;
- improve the Platform, first-party analytics, and user experience;
- send service messages (order updates, security alerts) and, where permitted, marketing communications from B2You.
Name, phone number, physical address, and location data are collected and used for app functionality (accounts, order fulfilment, delivery, and store operations)—not for advertising tracking across other companies’ apps or websites.
Our legal bases under UK GDPR include: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (platform security, service improvement, fraud prevention), legal obligation, and consent where required (for example, certain marketing or precise location uses).
3. Advertising, Tracking, and App Store disclosures
We do not track users for advertising purposes as defined by Apple’s App Store privacy rules. In particular:
- We do not link data collected from our apps with third-party data for targeted advertising across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We do not share personal data with data brokers.
- We do not use the iOS Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or App Tracking Transparency to track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
- We do not sell personal data.
Any in-app “advertisement” or promotional features on the Platform are first-party promotions (for example, store or product promotions within B2You), not cross-app advertising tracking.
If you previously saw App Store privacy labels that suggested tracking, those labels did not reflect our actual practices and have been or are being corrected. Data such as name, address, phone number, and location may still be collected for the service purposes described in this Policy, without being used for tracking.
4. How We Share Information
We share personal data only as needed to operate the Platform:
- Vendors / stores: information needed to fulfil your order (e.g. name, phone, delivery address, and order contents).
- Delivery partners: information needed to collect and deliver orders.
- Payment processors: such as Stripe / Stripe Connect for payment and payout processing under PCI DSS standards.
- Infrastructure and service providers: hosting, cloud storage, messaging, maps, and customer support tools that process data on our instructions to run the Platform.
- Authorities: where required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for their own independent advertising or marketing without your consent.
5. International Transfers and Storage
Primary Platform data is hosted in the United Kingdom. Some processors may process data in other countries. Where international transfers occur, we use appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or UK International Data Transfer Agreements / Standard Contractual Clauses, as applicable.
6. Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the service, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal/accounting retention requirements. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it where practicable.
7. Security
We use technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, hashed passwords, and restricted staff access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; please protect your login credentials.
8. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you may have the right to:
- access your personal data;
- rectify inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request erasure ("right to be forgotten") in certain circumstances;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- data portability;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@b2you.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Customers may also initiate account deletion from within the Customer app (Profile → Delete Account).
9. Children
The Platform is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use cookies, SDKs, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure performance, and improve the Platform. These technologies are not used to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. You can control cookies through your browser or device settings. Disabling some cookies may affect Platform functionality.
11. Push Notifications and Marketing
We may send transactional notifications about orders and account activity. Marketing messages from B2You are sent only where allowed by law and your preferences. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or in-app settings, and manage push notifications in your device settings.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or services (including vendor pages and payment flows). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on the Platform with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
